Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The successful candidate will provide bedside, acute patient care and coordinate nursing responsibilities in a fast-paced ER environment.

Ideal candidates are patient-focused with strong clinical knowledge. Licensure in the state of practice is required; BSN preferred. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on patient population and unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and be eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• BSN degree is preferred but not required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside, acute patient care in the Emergency Room.

Pay Range: $30.50 - $46.80 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside.

Position Specifics:

• Department: Emergency Room
• Core Function: Nursing
• Schedule: Full Time, Days, 36 hrs/wk
• Facility: Holy Family Hospital
• Location: Greenville, IL

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.
• Speciality certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.
