Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room and Float Pool. This Full-Time position (FTE: All Shifts) offers 36 hours per week with benefits eligible and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

You will work in a 30-bed ER unit, coordinating comprehensive patient care and supporting the ER team to ensure safety and the best patient experience. Requires completion of an accredited nursing program, state RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at

  • RN license issued by the state of practice.
  • BLS Certification and ACLS required.
  • Minimum 2 years telemetry/critical care/Cath Lab or PACU experience.

Where You Will Work
  • The unit has 30 beds with 6 low acuity spaces
  • As a nurse in this department, you will assist the ER team area only.
We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
  • Must possess at minimum 2 years telemetry, critical care, Cath Lab, or PACU nursing experience
What You’ll Do:
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
