Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform nursing functions and supervise RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Techs in accordance with the state nurse practice act. The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates outcomes.

Qualifications include Alabama RN license or multi-state license, CPR, and policy-driven credentials. Six months of related experience is required, with ACLS/NRP/PALS/BLS noted as needed within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

NOTE: ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, Float Pool (Critical Care and Maternity), SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.

NOTE: NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D.

NOTE: PALS within one year of hire in PACU

NOTE: BLS within 30 days
