Altru Hospital - Devils Lake is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 24-hour-per-week position with rotating shifts and five weekend shifts in an 8-week cycle. RNs may be placed on RN I, II, or III levels with a pay range dependent on level.

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the organization. The nurse maintains the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. The nurse facilitates the coordination of patient care within the interdisciplinary care team and provides patient education to assure safe patient discharge.
Registered Nurse | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) | American Heart Association (AHA)| Within 90 days of Start Date | Learning Management System Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) | Upon qualification into course | Learning Management System Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) | Upon completion of orientation, ENPC to be completed within 1 year | Learning Management System Notes: Temporary RN license accepted prior to start. Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start. RN Residency Cohort only: ND RN Graduate Work Authorization considered prior to start. The RN Graduate Work Authorization is valid for up to 90 days after issue or upon notification of the NCLEX results, whichever occurs first.
This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
Professional Drivers: Persons who drive as their main responsibility OR transport passengers or hazardous materials.
Frequent Drivers: Persons whose main responsibility is not driving, but drive daily or almost daily.
Occasional Drivers: Persons who drive from once per month to as frequently as once per week.
Infrequent Drivers: Persons who are generally not expected to drive.
