Job summary

PIH Health Hospital in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced nurse to independently utilize the nursing process to safely care for a defined group of patients, delivering individualized, high-quality care. You will work within a coordinated team with physicians, staff and families.

The role requires a current California RN license, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS and PALS certifications, LA City Fire Card, VIP, and at least 1 year of ED experience, while complying with all relevant acts and hospital policies.

Responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient’s family. Complies with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.
