Job summary

Northwell Health’s Danbury Hospital unit seeks a dedicated RN to provide high-quality patient care in the labor and delivery setting. You will utilize the nursing process in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safety and compassionate care for mothers and newborns.

Requirements include an active CT RN license and at least 6 months of L&D experience, plus ACLS/NRP/EFM certifications or the ability to obtain them within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• State of CT RN license is required.
• Minimum 6 months of L&D experience.
• ACLS, NRP required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• EFM certification required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional care to designated patients using the nursing process in collaboration with the health care team.
• Maintain accreditation and ensure patient safety with evidence-based practices.
• Adhere to CT Board of Nursing standards and Northwell Health policies.

Summary
