Universal Health Services via Hampton Behavioral Health Center in Westampton, NJ, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care. The RN provides direct patient care under physician and treatment teams, conducts safety checks, and documents care while upholding the hospital’s mission and values.

The role includes a full-time schedule with two 7am–7pm shifts and a 7am–3pm shift weekly, rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience or 2 years medical/surgical with leadership and strong clinical skills.
• NLN accredited program preferred and CPR certification required.

Our Registered Nurses play a vital role in the care and safety of our patients at Hampton Behavioral Health Center. The Registered Nurse provides direct care for our patients under the guidance of our physicians and treatment teams, maintains a safe and supportive environment for patients through the implantation of safety checks and crisis management, documents patient care, and upholds the core values of Hampton Behavioral Health Center.

This is a full time position with a schedule consisting of two 7am - 7pm shifts and one 7am - 3pm shift per week with rotating weekends. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.
