Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Missouri seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week internal assignment at $55 per hour. You will provide and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit, under the direction of CNO/Director of Nursing.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in MO, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and have inpatient med-surg experience. This role offers growth opportunities, flexible scheduling, and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Performs nursing duties using the nursing process to deliver and coordinate patient care.
• Demonstrates ability to plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning
• May serve as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
