Job summary

Care Initiatives' Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo, IA is seeking an RN for full-time day shifts (6AM–2PM) to deliver compassionate nursing care, manage medications, and monitor resident status in a 176-bed facility.

You will collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and providers to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance, while communicating with residents and families and documenting care accordingly.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing (Iowa).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Strong empathy, respect, patience and discretion in care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities
