Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a Registered Nurse on the Telemetry unit for a full-time, 12-hour day shift. This position includes every-other weekend and rotating holidays.

The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient care, develop care plans, and support a healing, person-centered environment.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN preferred, PA RN license or Compact, acute care experience preferred, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in PA or Compact state.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients, develop and modify care plans under limited supervision.
• Collaborate with Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, environment/technology, and team members.
• Care for patients across all ages (Infant through Older Adults) as identified in standards.

Position Purpose :

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Nazareth Hospital to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience. As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Under limited supervision, the Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, including developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan. The RN interprets and performs complex patient-care procedures specific to their expertise .

• RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and have accountability to function as a team to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.

• The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame .

• The RN provides care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.

• Patients served include all age groups (Infant through Older Adults as identified in Performance Standards).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Grad uate from an accredited nursing p rogram approved ; BSN preferred

• Current Registered Nurse license by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or Compact State required .

• Prior relevant experience in an acute care setting preferred.

• Certifications aligned with area of responsibility; Minimum of BLS required .
