Job summary

Advocate Health-Sheboygan County is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Day Surgery unit. The role supports outpatient procedures with a fast-paced, collaborative team environment and no weekend or holiday requirements.

We value inpatient RN experience and require an accredited nursing program completion, Wisconsin RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications where applicable. Days are Monday–Friday, with shift times around 05:30–19:00.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with standards, policies & procedures.

Where You Will Work

Outpatient surgery operates Monday through Friday from 0530 to approximately 1900, with no weekend or holiday requirements. We provide care to patients of all ages undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. Our day surgery unit is fast‑paced, and our team members are highly collaborative and team‑oriented, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS, PALS certification

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
