Job summary

Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Henderson, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to organize and direct nursing care on the assigned unit. The RN will provide compassionate care and collaborate with the care team to maintain high standards.

The shift runs 7am - 7pm, and the RN will administer medications, explain care plans, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations. Current RN licensure and at least one year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current State of Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year related nursing experience.
• Good standing in the state registry.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs assigned unit duties to provide quality nursing care to residents.
• Responsible during the shift for total nursing care of residents in the assigned unit.
• Assures compliance with Federal, State, Local, and company regulations.
• Explains procedures and treatments and care plan to resident.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Transcribes physician's orders.
• Additional duties as assigned.
