Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the 5 CC East Day Hospital unit. The role involves 36 hours per week with a day shift from 07:30 to 20:00, and a rotation every fourth weekend.

Where You Will Work

5 CC East Day Hospital (32 beds) Day Hospital is a fast-paced 32 bed medical-surgical short stay unit serving nearly every service in the hospital. The unit also has a 4-chair infusion suite that is used for a variety of infusions. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on day shift and 1:5 on night shift.

We’re Looking For

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association At least one year RN experience

What You’ll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
