Children’s Hospital of Orange County is seeking a per diem RN with pediatric CVICU/CTICU experience. The role focuses on planning and delivering family-centered care using the nursing process, coordinating with families and the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The position requires ACLS, BLS, PALS and an RN license in California, with a BSN due within two years of hire. Per diem shifts are available in Orange, CA, with day shifts and competitive compensation.

Formación

Job Summary

We are looking for RNs with peds CVICU/CTICU experience for these per diem roles. The Clinical Nurse PD AC is responsible for the planning and delivery of family-centered patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborate with patient/family and other professional disciplines. Create a partnership to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery for the achievement of mutually desired patient outcomes. Support the organization’s vision and mission. Promote and provide excellence in nursing care.

Pay Range

• Minimum $73.44
• Midpoint $75.48
• Maximum $77.52

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

• Required: Minimum of one (1) year of acute care nursing experience OR nine (9) months of acute care nursing experience in a pediatric setting.
• Preferred: One (1) year acute care nursing in a pediatric inpatient hospital.

Education

• Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) required within two (2) years of hire.

Licensure

• Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); Ped. Advanced Life Support (PALS); Registered Nurse - CA (RN).
• Preferred: Critical Care Registered Nurse
