Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital in Great Falls, MT seeks an RN to provide direct patient care on the medical/surgical/cardiovascular units with advanced monitoring. You will operate equipment including A-lines, balloon pumps and CRRT, and guide junior staff as a clinical leader.

This is a 3x12s night shift role (7pm-7:30am) with a retention bonus available. We value teamwork, compassionate patient care, and professional growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current MT RN Licensure; BLS/ACLS required.
• 1-2 years cardiac ICU experience strongly preferred; Impella/CRRT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for medical/surgical/cardiovascular patients.
• Operate advanced monitoring equipment and cardiac devices (A-lines, balloon pumps, CRRT).
• Serve as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff.
• Discharge planning and care coordination from admission to discharge.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Provides direct patient care to medical/surgical/cardiovascular patients needing advanced monitoring. Required to operate advanced medical equipment including use of central lines including A-lines, multiple IV’s balloon pumps, Impella pumps, and patients requiring Ventilation Support, or Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. As well as care for general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit. Has ability to assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision. Acts as a clinical leader and assists with precepting staff. Provides direct care for patients in the Hospital from admission to discharge in all aspects of care including discharge planning. Gives direction to RN, LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff. Receives direction from Providers, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Chief Nursing Officer.

This opportunity comes with a schedule of 3x12's and nights (7pm-7:30am)

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an accredited RN Degree Nursing Program, required

EXPERIENCE:

• Practice in and advanced Medical/Surgical Unit and recent Critical Care Nursing including cardiovascular surgery, required.
• Impella and/or other cardiac balloon pumps and CRRT experience, preferred
• 1-2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience strongly preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Current State of Montana RN Licensure
• BLS, ACLS required.
• Complete PALS courses within 6 months of hire and renewal as required.
• EPNC, TNCC certification preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Advanced Nursing Principles and Procedures.
• Use of basic office equipment, use of multiple IV pumps, ability to operate advanced medical equipment, including A-lines, Invasive lines, cardiac balloon pumps Chest tubes, patients requiring
• Ventilatory Support and those on CRRT.
