Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Coronary Care Unit C-6 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. This full-time night-shift role requires an active New Jersey RN license, BLS, ACLS within 120 days, and prefers CCRN. An ADN is required; BSN preferred.

EPIC EMR experience and at least 1 year of hospital experience are strongly preferred. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document accurately, and participate

Qualifications

Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing is required.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire is required.
ACLS must be completed within 120 days of hire.
CCRN preferred.
Associate Science in Nursing degree is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients and families.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes, intervening as needed.
Administer safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire and ACLS must be completed within 120 days of hire and CCRN preferred. An Associate Science in Nursing degree is required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 1 year hospital experience is highly preferred. Must be comfortable with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Full-Time Night shift 7p-7:30a 36 hours per week. Monday - Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
