Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgery department in Oak Lawn, IL. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Illinois, and at least 6 months of RN experience, with BLS certification.

Responsibilities include providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care, using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for patients throughout the continuum of care.

Qualifications

We’reLooking For:

· Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

· Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for newgrads

· Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

· Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

· As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic carein accordance withestablished standards, policies, and procedures.
