Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health seeks a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Child Inpatient Psychiatry unit in Devens, MA. The 24-hour evening shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) includes weekend and holiday rotation.

You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care as part of a multidisciplinary team to patients and families. Ideal candidates hold an active MA RN license (BSN preferred) and CPR certification, with experience in psychiatric or substance use disorders inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts; BSN preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities.
• Understanding the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Experience in psychiatric or substance use inpatient settings, with restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention.
• Strong crisis and time management skills with calm, organized, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Be an active participant in the health care team providing direct and indirect care to patients, families, and guardians.
• Assess patients' physical and psychological condition throughout the continuum of care.
• Apply the nursing process per TaraVista Behavioral Health Center philosophy and core principles.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in TaraVista's core values.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to treatment plans and document goals and interventions.

Registered Nurse (RN), Child Inpatient Psych, Part Time 24hr Evening

24-Hours, Evening Shift 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, E/O weekend and holiday rotation required.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, you’ll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. A Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. In exchange, we will care for you, as much as you care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• You will be an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• Assess the patients physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care.
• Utilize the components of the nursing process in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of TaraVista Behavioral Health Center.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in our core values.
• Work collaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and contribute to each patient’s treatment plan by helping develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions, informed by patient strengths and presenting psychiatric problems.

Qualifications

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience.

$43.99 - $57.68
