Job summary

Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves direct patient care during interventions such as catheterizations and pacemaker implants, with emphasis on patient advocacy and high-quality cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• Arizona RN license required (AZ or Compact)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• 1–2 years Cath Lab/ER/OR/ICU experience preferred
• ACLS and CPR within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and assist with prep/recovery
• Perform or assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and pacemaker implants
• Familiar with cardiac stress testing and related procedures
• Follow standards set by CVMC and clinical guidelines

How You'll Contribute

As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the Cath Lab Department through the nursing process of interview, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and triage.

Essential Functions

• Provide direct patient care within the Cardiac Cath Lab and assist with patient prep and recovery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary intervention, and permanent pacemaker implants.
• Will be familiar with cardiac stress testing, loop recorder implant, and venous ablation procedures.
• Follows standards set by CVMC, the AACN, CCI and SICP. Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
• Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
• 1 to 2 years of experience preferred. Previous experience in Cath Lab, ER, OR, or ICU.
• Must obtain ACLS and CPR within 90 days of hire.
