Good Samaritan University Hospital, part of Catholic Health, seeks an experienced Cardiology Holding Room RN to assess, monitor, and manage care for cardiology patients. You will partner with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and advocate for patients and families.

Requirements include 1+ year ICU/CCU or step-down experience, BSN preferred or ADN in BSN program, NY RN license, and BLS/ACLS; CCRN is a plus. This hospital emphasizes patient-centered care and professional growth.

Job Details

Our Cardiology Holding Room RN's

• Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, recover, and manage overall care for cardiology patients.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

What You'll Bring

• Passion for Cardiology
• 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in an intensive care or critical care unit (ICU)
• 1+ years step-down experience
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required, Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred

Salary Range

USD $56.39 - USD $73.66 /Hr.
