Job summary

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX is seeking a night shift, full-time Cardio Med Surg 5AB Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team in a high-acuity setting.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a current Texas RN license; BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire. Acute care hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Diploma, Associate or bachelor’s program.
• Current and valid RN license in Texas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, performs assessments, develops care plans, administers medications, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• The RN ensures patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Education
