Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a day shift, full-time Cardiac Cath lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The role emphasizes professional nursing practice in a high-acuity setting with focus on cardiac procedures.

Requirements include an NM nursing license, Associate’s degree or diploma, BLS, and ICU/critical care experience; ACLS/PALS preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance may be offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and/or PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients in the Cardiac Cath lab.
• May serve as Charge Nurse and supervise staff as assigned.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• HIRING DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PALS
