Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse to join our Free Standing Behavioral Health facility, working across ED and Observation areas with both adult and pediatric patients. The role emphasizes comprehensive care delivery, coordination, and adherence to established standards and procedures.

You will use evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to ensure patient safety and excellent experiences, contributing to high-quality care in a dynamic behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Behavioral Health Experience preferred.

Where You Will Work:

ED/Observation. Triage, ED Secure, Observation for adults and pediatrics- rotating through different areas.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Behavioral Health Experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Free Standing Behavioral Health facility - with Behavioral Health ED and inpatient units on site
