Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department Behavioral Health holding unit, with two dedicated areas for patients in crisis. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based patient care within a high-stakes environment.

You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in line with standards, policies, and procedures. Sign-on bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process in accordance with standards and procedures.

Where You Will Work

Emergency Department Behavioral Health holding unit with two dedicated areas for patients in crisis, rotating coverage between both units.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing


• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices


• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association


• Behavioral Health Experience preferred


• One year of RN experience preferred


• BSN Preferred

What You’ll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
