Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility in Denison, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients. You will collaborate with a large, nationwide nursing network and participate in leadership development tracks and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications include Texas RN licensure, BSN preferred, and at least one year of nursing experience, plus BLS certification during orientation.

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Education per RN licensure requirements. BSN preferred.
• One year of nursing experience required
• Current license in the State of Texas or compact. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. Handle with Care required with new hire orientation.
• Must be able to identify and address the special needs of patients in the adult and geriatric age group. Must also be able to communicate effectively with the patient. Psychiatric/Chemical Dependency experience preferred
