Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the inpatient behavioral health unit. This 0.9 FTE, 36-hour-per-week role includes 0700-1930 shifts with rotating holidays and weekends, providing comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to adults with a wide range of diagnoses.

Requirements include completing an accredited nursing program, an IL RN license, and BLS certification.

Formación

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Add additional preferred qualifications Minimum 1 year of RN experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
• CPI deescalation certification preferred

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• Duties will include medication administration, care documentation, interdisciplinary team treatment planning, 1 to 1 patient communication, advocating for patient needs.
