Job summary

Beckett Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health to cover night shifts (3-12 hour blocks, 7pm–7:30am). You will assess patients, initiate nursing interventions, and contribute to care planning in a fast-paced psychiatric setting.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in nursing and an Ohio RN license, with 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred. CPR and de-escalation certification must be completed within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Current RN license in Ohio required.
• 1-year experience in psychiatric health care preferred.
• CPR certification due within 30 days of employment.
• De-escalation certification due within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to stay calm and exercise good judgment in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation of medical necessity in the chart.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs

• Associate's degree in nursing
• Current Registered Nurse OH license as required by state regulations
• 1-year experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
• CPR certification is required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations while exercising sound judgment and taking appropriate action.
