Job summary

Advocate Health’s Aurora Psychiatric Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Adult Inpatient unit. This full-time role (0.9 FTE) is scheduled days, with a 36-hour work week, in Wisconsin.

You’ll coordinate comprehensive patient care, follow nursing processes, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment for adults with behavioral health needs. Opportunity to join a mission-driven team, with sign-on options and shift-based premium pay.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in accordance with nursing process, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.

We're Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

What You'll Do
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
