Where You Will Work

Atrium Health Huntersville Surgery Center, offers comfortable, intimate surroundings for outpatient surgery. We offer four outpatient surgery suites with state-of-the-art technology, coupled with fully equipped pre- and post-operative care areas. We focus on providing a high level of care in a private outpatient setting.

We're Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS preferred
• Previous PACU experience strongly preferred for this position

What You'll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location

• Ear, nose and throat procedures, such as tonsillectomies, pediatric ear tube placement and reconstruction of inner ear components to improve hearing
• Orthopedic procedures, including: Knee arthroscopies (using a special scope to diagnose an injury to, or perform minor surgery on, the knee)
• Fracture repairs
• Shoulder reconstructions
• Rotator cuff repairs
• Foot and ankle surgeries
• Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction in the knee
• Eye procedures, including plastic, reconstructive and cataract surgeries
• Hernia repairs and gall bladder removals
• Breast biopsies
• Gynecology surgeries
• Plastic surgery, including breast reconstruction, reduction and augmentation
• Urology procedure
