Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Ambulatory Care Unit. This PRN, day-shift role offers variable schedules within the ambulatory care setting, requiring active Missouri RN licensure and BLS/ACLS readiness.

The nurse applies the nursing process to coordinate patient care and outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the care team to deliver safe, efficient ambulatory services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure as registered nurse in Missouri or registry eligible.
• Maintains Basic Life Support validation.
• Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process.
• Demonstrates skill in area of specialty.
• ACLS required or obtained within six (6) months.
• Depending on department demand, chemotherapy infusion certification may be required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient care using the nursing process and standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality ambulatory services.

SPECIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licensure, Certification, Registration):

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current licensure as registered nurse in Missouri or registry eligible (Graduate nurse must obtain licensure within 3 months of graduation)
• Maintains basic life support validation
• Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process
