Job summary

Aspen Valley Health Walk-In Clinic seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced setting. You will work closely with providers and staff to ensure patient safety, comfort, and timely service.

The role requires an active Colorado RN license, ADN, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least two years of ER/urgent care experience. EPIC experience is a plus, and bilingual skills are preferred. PRN status may apply with eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• ADN required and CO RN license with ability to obtain prior to start date.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred or obtained prior to start date.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in an emergency department or urgent care.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with standards and AVH policies.
• Collaborate with clinic staff and assist with administrative duties as needed.
• Support Nurse Supervisor, Charge Nurse and Providers in day-to-day operations.

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• 2 years of experience as an RN in an emergency department or urgent care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred.
• Emergency Nurses Association - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview

The Walk In Clinic Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with known/accepted standards of practice and AVH policies. The nurse provides clinical care in collaboration with other clinic staff and assists with administrative duties, as needed, under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, Charge Nurse and Providers.
