Job summary

CO00 Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a part-time Flight & Transport Nurse to join the Pediatric Air & Ground Transport Team. In this role, you will provide ICU-level care while transporting critically ill children, partnering with pilots and paramedics to ensure safe transport.

Overview

Make a Difference: When a child’s life depends on minutes, precision, and teamwork, our Flight & Transport Nurses answer the call. As part of Cincinnati Children’s Pediatric Air & Ground Transport Team, you’ll deliver ICU‑level care in unpredictable environments, partnering with pilots, paramedics, physicians, and families to safely move critically ill children to the care they need.

What we need

Registered Nurses with 3+ years of pediatric ICU experience and a BSN from an ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institution. We are looking for someone with night shift availability between 7:00PM and 7:00AM.

Job Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institution required. Minimum 2+ years of experience.
• If hired without a BSN or MSN, must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the program within 5 years.
• Preferred: BSN from ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institution or MSN.
• Active Ohio RN license. May be required to obtain other state licensure.

Schedule and Location

Primary Location: Burnet Campus. Schedule: Part time, night shift (7:00PM – 7:00AM). Employee Status: Regular FTE 0.6. Weekly hours: 24.

Compensation

Expected starting pay range: $37.00 – $41.40 per hour (annualized pay may vary based on FTE status).
