Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Mississippi is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will assess patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions, delivering patient-centered care and education throughout rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• RN license in Mississippi and graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and education skills for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify individual patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions based on patient condition and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout the rehabilitation stay.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, self-care, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and nursing best practices.
• Promote a safe, healing environment that supports patient recovery and independence.
