Job summary

MGHP is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a night shift team, delivering patient care within an interdisciplinary setting. The role involves 72 hours per pay period at 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM every other weekend and rotating holidays, in alignment with the current collective bargaining agreement.

As part of a comprehensive care team, you will provide evidenced-based medicine, coordinate patient visits, and support family education while maintaining compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.

What You Will Do

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.

Continuing Employment Requirements

• Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medial staff. This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time.
• Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU’s for relicensure.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of MGHP.
