Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Idaho Correctional Institution in Orofino, ID. You will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision, in a fast-paced correctional setting, with a focus on safety and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The role offers 2 day 12-hour shifts and 1 night 12-hour shift plus every other weekend; a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time associates along with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Idaho RN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Nursing Supervisor, and multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to physical, psychological and social needs.
• Maintain required licenses, participate in continuing education, and ensure safety and security standards are met.

The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
