Job summary

Good Samaritan University Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking a Telemetry Step-Down RN to assess, monitor, and manage care for cardiac patients. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and support patients and families.

Qualifications

Job Details

Our Step-Down Cardiac Telemetry RN's:

• Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for cardiac telemetry step down patients (including conditions such as chest pains, positive troponin, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and arrhythmias)
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

What you'll bring:

• Passion for Cardiology
• 1+ years of experience in Telemetry preferred
• Experience reading cardiac monitors preferred
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)Provider Certification requiredfrom the American Heart Association, Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred

Salary Range

USD $56.39 - USD $77.34 /Hr.
