Foundations for Living in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our residential treatment team on alternate weekends. You will support at-risk youth with medical care, health monitoring, and collaborative treatment planning in a compassionate, structured setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license, has experience in mental health with adolescents, and demonstrates strong communication while providing crisis support and accurate documentation within a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in a mental health setting with adolescents preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effects.
• Conduct health assessments and document observations accurately.
• Collaborate with treatment team to develop care plans.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and safety.
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain medical records and documentation.
• Communicate with treatment team, residents, and families.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Ohio
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and at least 2 years experience in the nursing field preferred
• Valid State Registered Nursing License
• CPR and First Aid
• Experience working in a mental health setting with adolescents, preferred
• Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with mental health teens
