Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking Per Diem Registered Nurses and Part Time shifts in New Jersey. The role offers substantial shift differential based on experience and includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus for part-time hires.

Candidates must hold an active RN license in the state, have at least six months of RN experience, and be passionate about providing high-quality care to seniors. Experience with EMR is preferred, and CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in the state they will practice and graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• A passion for caring for seniors.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in line with state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and teaching self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention and administer medications per orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Document in the resident's EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.

RN - Compensation:$40.00 - $49.00 per hour, including shift differential based on experience.

There is a $2,000 Sign On Bonus for anyone that accepts a Part Time Role

How you will make an impact:

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice
• Promoting resident’s independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident’s condition, medication, and self-care skills
• Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed
• Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.
• Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the resident’s clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team
• Supporting resident’s preferences, routines, and choices in resident’s electronic medical record
• Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager
