Cherry Health (Cherry Street Services) DBA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to participate in patient assessments and provide care at their Westside Health Center. This fulltime position requires an RN licensed in Michigan and offers various benefits, including medical insurance and paid time off.
The role involves working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays. Responsibilities include conducting patient education and ensuring compliance with health care protocols.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for participating in patient assessments and providing care, education, and instruction to patients through symptom‑based telephone and in‑person triage. The RN ensures patients are educated and properly scheduled for care, follows protocols for patient treatment, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to meet health service objectives. This fulltime, benefit‑eligible position works at our family practice clinic located in our Westside Health Center. The schedule is typically Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm, with occasional Saturday mornings and travel to other Cherry Health sites.
Possible exposure to patients with illnesses and infections. Frequent telephone and computer use, requiring manual dexterity for writing and computer operation. Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods. Vision requirements may include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. May require bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
