Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pediatric Home Health in Town of Florida, NY. This role focuses on one-on-one care for a 15-year-old male client with high acuity needs, including seizure management. Nurses are supported by a dedicated clinical team and enjoy flexible scheduling with benefits like medical insurance and paid time off.

Applicants must have a valid Florida RN license and current CPR certification. Experience with specialized pediatric procedures is advantageous, but training is available.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Current BLS CPR card needed, obtained in-person.
• Experience with G-tube, trach, or vent preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated, one-on-one care to pediatric patients.
• Manage care for patients with seizure disorders and ADLs.
• Work collaboratively with families to support children's health.

Requirements

• Current, active Florida RN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
