Job summary

Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation in Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a compassionate team.

In this full-time role, you will provide bedside care, monitor vital signs, administer medications and injections, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality resident care. You will participate in charting, maintain confidentiality, and support a supportive, respectful workplace culture with shift options for day and night.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients, including personal hygiene maintenance.
• Record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate).
• Collect patients' health information.
• Relay information between patients, registered nurses, and physicians.
• Give oral medications and injections to patients.
• Test a patient’s blood sugar levels.
• Urinary catheter care.
• Wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene.
• Monitor for changes in patients.
• Proper charting, documentation, and maintenance of patients’ medical records.
• Asks questions when in doubt for clarification by the Registered Nurse.
• Acts as a role model for ancillary personnel.
• Maintains the confidentiality of the patient’s clinical records.

RN Requirements:
