Job summary

IVIRMA North America seeks a Registered Nurse to support fertility care at our West Orange, NJ location. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm with weekend rotation, combining clinical nursing, patient education, and care coordination.

You will coordinate patient care through diagnostic testing and treatment, review records and lab results, communicate with patients, educate on options and procedures, maintain EMR documentation, and collaborate with physicians and the care team

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• 2+ years of practical nursing experience.
• BSN degree.
• Availability to work a schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care throughout diagnostic testing and fertility treatment.
• Carry out provider-directed clinical and treatment plans.
• Review medical records, laboratory results and treatment information.
• Communicate test results, treatment instructions and next steps to patients.
• Educate patients and couples about testing, treatment options, medications, procedures and what to expect.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Perform appropriate nursing interventions and procedures to support patient care and safety.
• Provide compassionate support and help patients navigate emotional aspects of fertility treatment.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and other care team members.

We are looking for Registered Nurses for our West Orange, NJ location. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm with weekend rotation.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse on our fertility care team, you'll serve as both a clinical resource and treatment coordinator for your patients. This is very different from your typical bedside nursing position. You will be sitting at a desk making phone calls and emailing your patients.

You will:

• Coordinate patient care throughout diagnostic testing and fertility treatment.
• Carry out provider-directed clinical and treatment plans.
• Review medical records, laboratory results and treatment information.
• Communicate test results, treatment instructions and next steps to patients.
• Educate patients and couples about testing, treatment options, medications, procedures and what to expect throughout their journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Perform appropriate nursing interventions and procedures to support patient care and safety.
• Provide compassionate support, answer questions and help patients navigate the emotional aspects of fertility treatment.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures when needed.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and other members of the care team.
• Share knowledge and help support the development of fellow nurses and team members.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing and without restrictions
• 2+ years of practical nursing experience
• BSN degree
• Availability to work a schedule that may include weekends and holidays
• MS Office proficiency
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience

Preferred, but not required

• BCLS, ACLS, and/or IV Certification
• Previous experience in women's health, or reproductive health preferred
