Job summary

Elara Caring in Portland, ME is seeking a Registered Nurse for Home Health to assess and manage patient care in home settings. You will perform initial and ongoing assessments, follow physician orders, and educate families while protecting patient privacy and safety.

The role requires an active RN license, 1+ year of clinical nursing experience, and the ability to travel between patient homes with reliable transportation. Home Health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Certificate/ Diploma/ Associate or Baccalaureate).
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Home Health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

What is Required?

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associates or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
