The Laurels of Fulton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team in Detroit area, providing hands-on nursing care and leadership to LPNs and CNAs. The role offers opportunities to develop clinically and professionally within a supportive environment.

You will coordinate patient care, administer medications, and participate in developing care plans while maintaining the highest standards of resident dignity and comfort.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services and health education to residents.
• Supervise care provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other team members.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Assess residents' health and notify physician of changes; implement orders.
• Develop and implement a plan of care based on assessment.
• Institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA) and care planning.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, provides and manages nursing care, services and health education to nursing home guests.
• Supervise the care/services provided by the LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other team members who care for guests
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests
• Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status; promptly implement new orders
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest’s condition and/or prevent complications
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state
• CPR certification
