Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to direct resident care and collaborate with physicians and the inter-disciplinary team. You will provide physical and psychological support to residents, families, and staff, while upholding person-centered care and residents’ choices.

The role supports the mission of Otterbein as a Partner in Caring, working across housing communities, Home Health, Hospice, and Home Office. Part-time 3rd shift and PRN openings are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Valid Ohio RN license and CPR.
• At least 6 months of direct care nursing experience; long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise resident care in collaboration with the team.
• Communicate with residents, families, and physicians to support choices.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality care and uphold dignity.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds and care planning.

Open Positions: Part-time 3rd, PRN

Pay: Starting from $35.00 (Based on experience) and $3.00 2nd and 3rd shift differentials

Responsibilities

• Communicating a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for elders
• Recognizing the autonomy and dignity of all elders
• Understanding how to place decision-making in the hands of the elders
• Focusing on providing high-quality service and care

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of approved nursing program
• Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license, CPR
• Experience: At least 6 months of direct care nursing practice desired; long term care experience preferred
