Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, NJ, is seeking Per Diem and Part-Time RN candidates. Competitive compensation between $40.00 and $49.00 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for part-time roles.

Join a patient-centered team delivering care across assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and home settings. The role emphasizes relationship building with residents and families, adherence to nursing standards, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Passion for caring for seniors.
• Experience with electronic medical records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, focusing on holistic care.
• Perform clinical duties in line with nursing standards and state practice acts.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and educating families.
• Monitor residents closely and respond to changes in condition for safety.
• Collaborate with care team to provide routine nursing care and treatments.
• Maintain infection prevention and accurate documentation in EMR.

RN - Compensation:$40.00 - $49.00 per hour, including shift differential based on experience.

There is a $2,000 Sign On Bonus for anyone that accepts a Part Time Role

How you will make an impact:

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice
• Promoting resident’s independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident’s condition, medication, and self-care skills
• Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed
• Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.
• Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the resident’s clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team
• Supporting resident’s preferences, routines, and choices in resident’s electronic medical record
• Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager

What you will need:

• Must have an active RN license in the state they will practice and Graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN
• A passion for caring for seniors
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred
• CPR certification required
