Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health in Charleston, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide primary care coordination and implement a collaborative care plan with the physician and treatment team. Duties include assessing mental health needs, diagnosing, planning and evaluating nursing care, and monitoring medications for safety and efficacy.

Shifts include day and night with a 7-shift in two weeks schedule; benefits and RN licensure in SC are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.
• BSN or BS preferred; specialty certification also preferred.

Duties include: Assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care; administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician; to ensure safety and provide consistent therapeutic milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.

Schedule Day and night shifts are available. RNs will be scheduled 7 shifts in a two week period with alternating weekend days. Day Shift: 7:00am to 7:30pm Night Shift: 7:00pm to 7:30am

Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited college of nursing. BSN or BS preferred. Specialty certification also preferred. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current SC RN license or an RN license from a compact state required; CPI training provided upon hire.
