Job summary

Universal Health Services (Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health) in South Carolina is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate patient care and implement treatment plans. Expect day and night shifts with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for professional growth.

The RN will assess mental health needs, develop nursing diagnoses, monitor medications, and ensure safety within a therapeutic milieu. SC RN license or compact-state license required; CPI training provided on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.
• BSN or BS preferred.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience preferred.
• Current SC RN license or an RN license from a compact state; CPI training provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan.
• Assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care.
• Administer and monitor medications and treatments ordered by a physician; ensure safety and therapeutic milieu management.
• Provide crisis intervention strategies as part of care delivery.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Duties include: Assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care; administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician; to ensure safety and provide consistent therapeutic milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.

Schedule

Day and night shifts are available. RNs will be scheduled 6 shifts in a two week period with alternating weekend days.

Day Shift: 7:00am to 7:30pm

Night Shift: 7:00pm to 7:30am
