Job summary

Agape Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Orleans, LA to evaluate patients, develop care plans, and coordinate care with families and the care team. You will lead a compassionate team to deliver quality hospice care with strong leadership support and opportunities for professional development.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, collaboration, and a commitment to meaningful patient experiences within our care family. Pay is determined by experience and location.

Qualifications

  • A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
  • Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
  • Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift 80-100 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and create care plans.
  • Communicate with patient, family and care team to coordinate care.
  • Drive the care team to ensure every patient receives quality care.
