Axiom Healthcare of Mount Vernon is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mount Vernon, IL nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, and administer medications and treatments in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN License (Unencumbered, State of IL).
• CPR Certification required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and oversee CNAs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with physician rounds.
• Foster a positive, compassionate environment for residents and staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with IV therapy, wound care, catheterization, and other nursing procedures.
